A Tadorne reference design

Vigie

The battery's lookout. One board that measures the energy aboard, keeps watch on a few microamps and reports from the bilge — all year, main switch off.

Vigie 1.0: the exploded stack, then the board aboard — shunt, Kelvin pair, Bluetooth LE.

Battery state read at the shunt, and a watch kept all year.

What the node brings

One point of truth

All current passes the shunt; the board only reads it. No second path, no silent error.

Always alive

Fed upstream of the main switch, it is the one module that outlives the winter.

Built from scripts

Schematic, placement and routing are regenerated by versioned code, not drawn by hand.
